What areas does Laundry Valet pick-up/drop-off

We pick up from Columbia, West Columbia, Cayce, and Irmo area. Outside our service area? A fee for mileage will be assessed. Please contact for more information.

How much does your service cost ?

Pricing couldn’t be easier. $2.25 per pound with a 10 lb minimum

(residential). Laundry under 10 lb will incur a $10.00 surcharge. We offer commercial service as well. Please contact us for a quote. Pressing and large bedding items are priced by the piece and material type.

How does the student subscription work ?

We make it easy for students to focus on their academics. With a student subscription laundry is picked up once a week for the entire semester. You pick the plan, date and time of pick-up and we do the rest. More information is available under the student subscription tab.

How will I be billed ?

We offer subscription billing or you can pay your bill online. We accept Visa, MC, Discover, American Express, Paypal, Cash App We will email you a detailed invoice and receipt once payment is made. Payments are due before laundry is deliver,

What payment types do you accept ?

We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express , Cash App, and Paypal.

What if I'm not home when you pick-up/deliver ?

No problem. Just leave the laundry somewhere we can access it and then log into your account and edit your Pickup/Delivery Instructions. Many customers have us leave their laundry at their back door or in a foyer if they are not home. Whenever possible, please select a drop-off site that’s protected from the elements. If you request that we leave your laundry unattended (e.g., on your porch, in a hallway, or in your foyer) or with a third party (e.g., with a doorman or a neighbor), we are not responsible for your laundry before we have picked it up or after we have dropped it off.

Could you pick-up/deliver to my place of work ?

Absolutely. Many of our customers have Laundry Valet pickup and deliver to their workplace. Just specify in your laundry preferences the pickup and delivery details.

Where is laundry left for pick-up/drop-off

We recommend that your pickup/drop-off location be protected from the elements if possible. Most customers have us leave their laundry on a front or back porch, in a garage or with their building manager. We also use common sense and watch the weather. If a hurricane or blizzard is coming, we’ll contact you and make alternate plans.

When is my laundry returned ?

Our standard turnaround is 1 day and is included in our service (no extra fee). Exceptional circumstances may require several days to process laundry determined by Laundry Valet. If you need it back sooner you can request same-day delivery. There is an additional charge to your invoice for a faster turnaround.

What should I include in my bag for the initial pick-up?

For your first pick-up, items can be placed in 13 gallon, kitchen trash bags. We'll include a Laundry Valet bag with your returned laundry to use for all pick-ups that follow (if applicable). Please indicate all items that require any special processing (i.e. gentle wash cycle * air dry * hand wash * stain treatment * etc.
